Its been a while since I sent a private message on Linkedin to any of my contacts. Today, in the updates, I saw that an ex-colleague of mine has joined another company as manager. So I thought of sending him a congratulatory message and also have few casual interaction. I just clicked on the “send message” link under the update and boy! the following happened:
A neatly worded message (all the things that I actually wanted to type in) including the appropriate subject line was automatically generated in a pop-up window. For a second I was zapped but then after reading it, it felt pretty happy! Truly a very intuitive feature by LinkedIn, almost perfect, but only my signature was missing (feedback).
