Looking forward to the gifts from Santa Claus? On this Christmas eve, he is about to start his journey. Here are ways to track Santa Claus right from your desktops and mobiles.
There is an interesting legend behind the tracking of Santa Claus. Way back in 1955, a company by name Sears Roebuck & Co. based in United States had placed an advertisement for children’s to call a number to talk to Santa Claus. It so happened that the number was mis-printed and the calls landed up at Continental Air Defense Command (CONAD) Commander-in-Chief’s operations hotline. Then director Col. Harry Shoup actually started the tradition by instructing his team to track the journey from North Pole by following the radar and give updates to the children who had called! CONAD handed over the tracking to NORAD when US & Canada decided to start a joint North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to All Our Dear Readers!
