Apple has launched new version of iPod Nano with exciting new features like FM with video recording, a pedometer that shows how much calorie you burned along with step counter, A Music DJ kind of application that groups similar sounding songs together. Here is a snapshot of the new features:

* Pedometer and Nike + iPod

A step counter that counts each step a person takes by detecting the motion of the person’s hips. However, you will need Nike + iPod Sport Kit or Sensor and a pair of Nike+ shoes for this feature.

* FM radio with Live Pause:

The FM radio comes with a Live Pause option with a single click. You can even rewind as far back as 15 minutes! Wow

* Video recording with effects

* Genius Mixes

With Genius Mixes in place, all you do is sync your iPod nano to iTunes, and Genius automatically searches your library and finds songs that sound great together to create up to 12 Genius Mixes. With Shake to Shuffle feature ON, you can can just shake the iPod Nano, and it will shuffle songs in your music library.
