Sometimes the ad-wars can turn funny, but there is a thin line between acceptable and not aceptable. I found this at ebay India site.
Nokia tries to capture Samsung’s Galaxy and how…What’s your opinion on such ad placements? Fair, Unfair? please comment and let know of your opinion

UPDATE [July 14th 2011]: How To Use Front Facing Camera in Samsung Galaxy S
One of the first things I checked after I got hold of Samsung Galaxy S was the camera, specifically the front facing or the secondary camera. But I was in for a surprise when the Camera Application could generate the pictures from the Primary camera at the back. Checked the settings in and out but could not figure out the access to Front Facing Camera till I found out that there . . . → Read More: Which App Do I Use for Front Facing Camera in Samsung Galaxy S

I ran into this issue of Samsung Kies not detecting Galaxy S for Bluetooth connections. Samsung Kies is just displaying Windows Mobile and Symbian as the choices! I never thought Samsung also had Symbian phones in their range:
This is happening on a Windows 7, 64-bit Home Premium and the Galaxy S is currently on Android 2.1, Eclairs.
On a slightly different note, I also feel that Samsung Kies is not the best of the Mobile-PC Sync software I have seen. Even the Motorola Phone tools released for V3i in 2005/2006 had more features.

While Newtwitter is getting rolled out in phases and might change various avatars when it is finally made available for all (meaning there is scope for improvement till we see the final version). Here are some improvements that Twitter can implement to make tweeting seamless and fun:
1. Retweet with comment / editing. Most of us are happy to add various pre-fixes to the tweets than just a plain RT. Anybody +1 ?
2. Auto-Shortening of URL the way Tweetdeck does it using Bit.ly TinyURL, and others (Oh! wait, I know bit.ly might be . . . → Read More: Features that could have made #newtwitter more fun

Google Wonder Wheel is an awesome improvisation on search from Google by showing related search terms in hub and spoke model with the results on the right hand side for easier resolution of the searched query. The searched query item is at the center and if you click on one of the offshoots or the spokes, the clicked item now becomes the hub of the related search queries. The results are refreshed on the right hand side every time you click on one of the search items in the spoke. Here is the introductory video from Google’s Engineer, Adam . . . → Read More: Have you tried the Google Wonder Wheel,Not yet enabled for Google India

Indian politicians now take their war to the cyberspace. The ruling Indian National Congress party and the main opposition party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are embroiled in a bitter war over domain redirection of BJP.COM
It all started on October 3rd a http request to http://bjp.com would redirect to Congress party’s website. It appears like some smart bloke (read Cyber Savy) at Congress or a prankster setup this redirection.
However, Congress now appears to have taken a step back with the request to http://bjp.com now landing on a parked page with ads. A Whois search for http://bjp.com . . . → Read More: BJP vs Congress Domain War
