Our recent tryst in minimizing the sound levels at our work place made us go through various twists and turns. Although we are minimizing the sound levels through various innovative steps, this also made me bump into this wonderful app called Sound Meter available for Android Phones. Generally we do not worry about the hardware factors of our Laptops or PCs like CPU fan speed, core temperature, clock speed and etc assuming them to be running just fine. In what could be the acquisition of the year, Google is on its way to acquire Motorola Mobility for US 12.5 Billion! With so many patent infringements leveled against it, Google has decided to defend itself aggressively. Attack is the best form of defense they say, and since Motorola holds significant amount of patents in the mobile sector, Google has made this strategic decision to counter the likes of Microsoft and Apple in the patents turf war.
